This Privacy Policy describes how UptodateSoft ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our application (the "App"), which integrates QuickBooks Online with Jofotara. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following types of information when you use the App:

1.1 Personal information

• Account information: When you connect your QuickBooks Online account and Jofotara account, we may collect your name, email address, and other account details.
• Contact information: If you contact us for support, we may collect your name, email address, and any other information you provide.

1.2 Financial and business data

• QuickBooks data: The App accesses and processes data from your QuickBooks Online account, such as invoices, sales receipts, credit notes, refund receipts, customers, and company information.
• Jofotara data: The App also requires data from your Jofotara account, such as user key, user secret, tax number, and income source number.

1.3 Technical information

• Log data: We may collect information about your device, IP address, browser type, and usage patterns when you interact with the App.
• Cookies and tracking technologies: We may use cookies or similar technologies to enhance your experience and analyze usage.

1.4 JFINT Social Insights and Meta data

UptodateSoft uses JFINT Social Insights to measure organic performance for Facebook Pages and linked Instagram Professional accounts that UptodateSoft owns or manages.

• Facebook Page data: Page identifiers and names, published Page content, engagement information, and Page insights available through the authorized read-only permissions.
• Instagram Professional account data: Linked professional-account identifiers and profile information, media information, and account or media insights available through the authorized read-only permissions.
• Purpose: We use this data only to monitor, analyze, and report on JFINT’s organic social-media performance and to improve our content strategy.
• Authorization and retention: Authorization credentials are stored server-side using authenticated encryption with minimal connection metadata. The current integration does not persist retrieved Facebook or Instagram insight payloads.
• Excluded activities: The current integration does not publish content, manage comments or private messages, access advertising data, or connect Meta data to Odoo.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App’s functionality.
• Facilitate the integration between QuickBooks Online and Jofotara.
• Communicate with you, including responding to your inquiries and providing customer support.
• Analyze usage patterns and improve the user experience.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. However, we may share your information in the following circumstances:

• With your consent: We may share your information with third parties if you give us explicit permission.
• Service providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the App, such as hosting, analytics, and customer support providers.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the new owner.

4. Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your rights and choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: You can request access to the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: You can request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion: You can request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
• Opt out: You can opt out of receiving promotional communications from us.

To revoke JFINT Social Insights access or request deletion of its protected authorization and connection metadata, remove the integration through Meta’s business settings or contact support@uptodatesoft.com. We verify the requester’s authority and retain information only where legally required.

6. Third-party services

The App integrates with QuickBooks Online, Jofotara, and Meta services for Facebook and Instagram. These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies to understand how they handle your information:

7. International data transfers

If you are located outside the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, please note that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

8. Children’s privacy

The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the App. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

11. Miscellaneous

• Entire agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Application.
• Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
• Waiver: The failure of the Company to enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
